Bluetooth file transfer in Ubuntu 9.04(Jaunty)

Well now I have finished my 4th year at university I have finally being in a position to reinstall my laptop's OS and upgrade it to Ubuntu 9.04 so it matches my other computer. The installation went fine however when I tried to transfer files from my Mobile Phone to the laptop it wouldn't allow me to do so. After a search on the internet and some digging around I found that I was missing a couple of packages that allows bluetooth to work correctly. This is really strange, bluetooth is recognized and allows you to connect however without these packages you can't transfer files, not sure why but the solution is easy.

To fix the problem run the following command:

sudo apt-get install gnome-bluetooth bluez-utils python-bluez

Once you have done that to transfer files to your computer or off of your computer there is a application under Applications -> Accessories called Bluetooth File Sharing, run this application and everything should work perfectly, or at least it seems to for me.
